Spotlight On Nursing is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to be distributed in May of 2014 to graduate nursing students with the expressed purpose of increasing nurse faculty in Indiana. In 2013, four $5000 scholarships were distributed.
The Spotlight on Nursing Graduate Scholarship will be awarded to candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:
Unencumbered Indiana RN license.
Full-time or part-time doctoral student.
Good standing in the graduate program in which enrolled.
Statement of commitment to teach in a NLNAC or CCNE nationally accredited School of Nursing in Indiana for the equivalent of one academic year following completion of the doctoral program. A recipient must return the financial value of the scholarship if they cease their education pursuit.
Acceptance by the recipient to participate in Spotlight on Nursing’s development endeavors.
Recognition of Scholarship Recipient at the Annual Spotlight On Nursing Run Walk For Tomorrow’s Nurses, held on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Consideration is given to all applicants without regard to age, gender, race, creed, or national origin.
