Spotlight On Nursing is pleased to announce that the 2009 Run/Walk raised $36,253 for nursing scholarships.  Collectively, we have raised over $290,000 for nursing scholarships in our eight year history.   We would like to thank the nurses, sponsors, volunteers and public servants that have made this possible year after year. 

Spotlight on Nursing is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded to support nursing initiatives in central Indiana. With the demand for nursing increasing, a concerted community effort is essential to promote and support nursing careers.

The annual Spotlight on Nursing For Tomorrow’s Nurses Run/Walk was created to heighten community awareness for the nursing profession. Proceeds from the event will benefit nursing scholarships and fellowship grants for those pursuing advanced degrees, with the express purpose of increasing nursing faculty in Indiana.  More than $254,000 has been raised for nursing scholarships since 2002.
